I&#8217;m glad to see that people are still taking care of things. When I moved to NZ, one of the things that surprised me most was how they made things last. Something that would be considered old in Japan was still relatively new over there. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>If things broke, people fixed them, often by themselves. Like the Australians, New Zealanders tend to be very practical and resourceful. In Japan, I think there is a tendency to just throw things away as soon as they are more than a couple of years old. <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here is some feedback on your comments.<\/p>\n<p>a carpet in the living room<br \/>\n<strong>Presumably, you only have one carpet in the living room, so that should be &#8220;the carpet.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nActually I felt something wrong with the part of \u201cNow it has grown taller\u201d,<br \/>\n<strong>Actually, I thought there was something wrong with &#8220;&#8230;.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nI wear a same wrist watch every day.<br \/>\n<strong>I wear the same wrist watch every day. Modern ones are much more energy efficient, so you will probably end up saving a lot of money!<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nTheir clothes are worn out but I still put them (Mikey and Minnie dolls) on a piano.<br \/>\n<strong>Unless you have more than one piano, that should be &#8220;the piano.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019ve never bumped into such a car accident in my lifetime.<br \/>\n<strong>I&#8217;ve never come across a car accident in my life. It&#8217;s going to be a busy weekend, because I&#8217;m teaching at the \u653e\u9001\u5927\u5b66 in Gifu. I&#8217;m teaching all day Saturday and all day Sunday.
